SOAP Program
The Structured Outpatient Addictions Program provides treatment for men and women, some of whom are homeless, with substance abuse disorders and in some cases co-occurring mental health disorders. SOAP persons served have the opportunity to receive treatment while continuing to participate in their community activities - from work to family life and parenting.
The program operates Monday through Friday, providing services in two 3 1/2 hour sessions. Evening programming is offered Monday through Thursday. Treatment term varies based on medical necessity.
Persons served who complete SOAP programming may participate in other LHI services.
Program Services Include:
- Intake & Diagnostic Assessment
- Development of Individual Action & Recovery Plans
- Group & Individual Counseling
- Family Treatment, as may be required
- Substance Abuse Education
- Relapse Prevention Strategies and Planning
- Case Management & Residential and Housing Placement Support
- Psychopharmacological Referrals
- Random Drug Screens
- Discharge and Aftercare Planning
Hours of Operation:
The program is available daily. Monday through Friday 9:00AM
to 4:00PM (excluding holidays).
Evening Program: Monday through Thursday 5:30PM to 9:00PM.
