Ambulatory Services
- Outpatient Services include
group and individual addiction counseling (including couple and
family treatment), compulsive gambling counseling, evaluations and
assessments, and community based prevention and education.
Referral sources may include families, schools, DSS, courts and
probation departments, or individuals may request services simply by
calling
(978) 459-8656.
- Adolescent Addiction Services include confidential individual
counseling for juveniles (and other family members), and the juvenile
Diversion Program (JDP). The JDP is a 12-week comprehensive
education and empowerment program designed to address issues
specifically relevant to teenagers and substance abuse. The
curriculum includes HIV/AIDS education, relapse prevention,
self-awareness, tobacco education, the impact of drug and alcohol use
and abuse, personal responsibility and accountability.
- Driver Alcohol Education (DAE) and Second And Multiple Offender
Aftercare Program (an outpatient service) are provided for mandated
court and/or registry individuals who have been charged with drunk
driving (DWI/OUI). The DAE program focuses on substance abuse education.
The Second And Multiple Offender Aftercare Program offers elements of
HIV/AIDS education, relapse prevention, 12-step and other self help
information in a clinical format.
- Community Services include substance abuse informational
presentations, (such as emerging trends, club drugs, signs and symptoms,
etc.) presented to organizations, businesses, schools, and families who
are trying to prevent substance abuse or cope with issues relating to
addiction.
